Ammy Virk has released a video of himself singing, as a tribute to the late Punjabi singer Dilshad Akhtar.
Dilshad Akhtar was a hugely popular singer in the late 80’s and 90’s, and with his unique voice and singing style, he was the go-to singer for music fans who wanted to hear something that was uniquely Punjabi. Sadly, he passed away in 1995, from a gunshot wound fired by a police officer who had asked the singer to perform at his son’s wedding.
