It overlooks the town of Verbier, which is in walking distance, and in summer Verbier is a vibrant and fun filled town with a wealth of activities on offer such as hiking, biking, golf, paragliding, rock climbing, festivals, workshops as well as lots of fun things to do for the kids.

It is also incredibly scenic, and the views postcard perfect, as the snowy slopes have been replaced with lush green meadows glistening in the sunshine and covered in a colourful carpet of flowers. It is the perfect summer destination, offering glorious weather, ample things to do and see, and lots of relaxation, so why not swap that beach break for the mountains!

Getting to The Lodge, Verbier

It is really easy to get to The Lodge and it is just over a two hour scenic train journey from Geneva Airport with one change at Martigny where you board a train to Le Chable. From Le Chable you can either take a taxi transfer to Verbier or the cable car, to the MĂ©dran Lift Station if the service is running. At present it only runs on the weekends during the summer months.

The Rooms at The Lodge

This luxurious nine bedroom chalet sleeps 18 adults and 6 children, who can share a fun bunk room, and the chalet can be hired exclusively or by the room in the summer months. The decor is a mix of modern as well as rustic alpine touches, and is the epitome of chalet chic.

The rooms are large and spacious and have a massive and very comfortable bed, a desk area, lounge area, an enormous bathroom with both a tub and a separate shower, and either a fireplace or a balcony.

The decor can be described as urban chic meeting traditional Alpine style, and is so cosy yet so spacious, and thoughtfully the rooms are equipped with a Dyson fan, as it can get really warm at night, full size Cowshed products in the bathroom, as well as a Toblerone at turn down service, which is a lovely treat.

Facilities at The Lodge

When you’re not making the most of Verbier’s alpine splendour, there’s plenty to keep you occupied at The Lodge. There is a heated indoor pool, an indoor jacuzzi, a steam room, gym, and spa, where you can retreat for massages and facials with the in house spa therapist.

Outdoors in the expansive garden, there are sun loungers, a hammock and an outdoor jacuzzi, which is the perfect spot to relax after a day of hiking. In the summer BBQs are also part of your dining experience.

There is both an indoor and outdoor lounge area with lots of plush and comfortable seating, as well as an indoor communal dining table, where guests can catch up on each other’s days. There is a bar upstairs where the staff can make you any drink you desire. The Mojitos were excellent!

Downstairs there is an amazing spacious party room, with a well stocked self serve bar, a pool table, table tennis table, cinema area, wine cellar, and lots of seats, where guests can enjoy the surroundings.
