BOLLYWOOD AND SUFI SINGER HARSHDEEP KAUR COMES TO THE UK

Bollywood playback singer and Sufi music star, Harshdeep Kaur, is coming to the UK in March.

The singer is known for her soulful songs and stunning voice, and is one of the biggest Sufi music stars in the world.

Harshdeep is the first female to twin two-talent show singing titles in India, the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan describes Harshdeep as the ‘Queen of Sufi’.

The Delhi-born performer has established herself as a leading playback singer for Bollywood soundtracks working with some of the leading directors in the industry, including A R Rahman, Pritam Chakroborty, Vishal-Shekhar and Salim Suleiman.

She has performed on some of the biggest Bollywood hits of the 21st century, including Katiya Karun from Rockstar, Heer from Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and Kabira from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

She is one of the few Indian sngers to have worked in Hollywood too. Her song R.I.P. for Oscar- winner Danny Boyle’s 127 hours in 2010 was nominated for the Oscars and Golden Globes.

More recently, Harshdeep has been performing at prestigious concert venues around the world and performed at the Manchester International Festival 2017.

Audiences can expect an evening of Sufi classics and Bollywood hits as Hardeep mesmerises with her stunning voice, performing personal and audience favourites from her incredible career to date.

The star will be performing on the 25th March in London and on the 28th March in Birmingham.
