BRITASIA TV MEETS… JASMINE SANDLAS

BritAsia TV caught up with Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas to talk all about her music career and what it’s like to be a woman in the music industry.

Jasmine Sandlas has a unique and powerful voice, and last year we saw her get even more bigger and better with the releases of “Lv Di Jean”, “Bamb Jatt” with Amrit Mann, and two collaborations with Punjabi singer Garry Sandhu for “Illegal Weapon” and “Laddu”.

She is one of the biggest female Punjabi singers and we had to know her thoughts on what it’s like being a female singer in the music scene.

The singer gave us her words of wisdom and assured the females out there, that it isn’t a male dominated world, and it doesn’t matter if you’re either male or female, if you have a talent and you work hard and hustle, you will make it. She couldn’t have put it better in any other way!

On collaborations, she told us that she wants to broaden her market and collaborate with EDM producers. We can totally imagine Jasmine’s vocals on a Major Lazor track, and this must happen. In contrast to EDM, she also mentioned that she wants to work with folk artists, where again we can see a huge ballad form from that.

There is no doubt that Jasmine will make this happen, and we’re excited to see more from her in 2018.
