Rishi Rich and Dave Bawa collaborate for ‘Unit 404’

Musical maestro Rishi Rich has returned to the Bhangra industry, this time producing an eleven track album for rising star Dave Bawa!

Having introduced artists such as Jay Sean, Juggy D, H-Dhami and more to the music scene – Rishi is set to push the boundaries once again with the album Unit 404. This will be Rishi’s first album project since the debut of H-Dhami’s Sadke Java in 2008 – which was a hugely successful album on the mainstream Asian market and propelled H-Dhami onto more astounding projects and collaborations, sell-out shows and worldwide fame.

Dave Bawa is a fairly new vocalist to the music scene, but is one that bags a whole load of originality, uniqueness, passion and talent. Dave’s current repertoire features collaborations with music producers Harj Nagra, DJ Hark and Kal-M and with rapper Rush Toor, who Dave has closely aligned himself with.

In a statement posted on Dave’s website, the album Unit 404 promises to exceed all expectations. “From beginning to end, the listener is taken through a journey love, lust and heartbreak. Unit 404 not only marks the beginning of Dave’s career in the international market but the establishment of a brand new sound that shatters the walls of genres and the boundaries of culture. Unit 404 is the crossover album of this generation – music that evokes emotion and sets the score for a global movement”.

News of a collaboration between Dave and Rishi excited Bhangra fans worldwide and has been an highly anticipated release for several months. Dave has been able to share exclusive behind the scenes video clips, showcasing intense and fun studio sessions between the two.
