Kiran’s Everyday Makeup Routine

Kiran gives BritAsia TV viewers a valuable insight into her everyday makeup routine, detailing her favourite everyday products.

Everyday make up holds different meanings for everyone…some like to keep it natural, applying as little as possible, whereas others may like to put a little more on; however how much you wish to use is up to you, make up enhances beauty. Just remember no amount of make up can make an ugly soul beautiful…

I, personally, like to apply a little more than some, it’s what I feel comfortable in; so here goes my everyday make up…

Once I have moisturised my face with my Neutrogena ‘Visibly Clear’ oil free moisturiser and my lips with the Blistex ‘Intensive Balm’; I move onto my face, depending on if I have time or not I prime my face with the Maybelline ‘Baby Skin’ pore eraser, as much as I love my Benefit Primer, I feel this is more pocket friendly for day to day use…it’s the perfect dupe!

As a base, I tend to use BB creams, I normally reach in for my L’oreal ‘Nude Magique’ BB cream in the shade medium. Go back to my “Always look at the light side of life” blogpost for an insight into my fave BB creams! I find that BB creams are better for daily wear, as they are not only lightweight, but allow your skin to breath and for me are of perfect coverage.

Again, depending on how much time I have and whether or not I need it, I go in with my all time favourite concealers; I use the Maybelline ‘Fit Me’ concealer in the shade 10 under my eyes, and the shade 20 to cover any blemishes I have. I set my face with the Rimmel London ‘Clear Complexion’ powder in the shade transparent.

Taking the Soap and Glory ‘Archery’ pencil in the shade hot chocolate, I shape and fill in my brows, setting them with the Maybelline ‘Brow Drama’ sculpting brow mascara.

Using my L’oreal ‘Glam Bronze’ powder in shade 06 (Golden bronze), I add definition and a bit of colour to my face; applying this to the hallows of my cheeks, jaw line, nose and forehead. I then add the L’oreal ‘Le Blush’ in the shade 120 (Sandalwood Pink) to the apples of my cheeks. If I have time, I highlight with the highlighter from my Sleek ‘Contour Kit’ in the shade light. Using my L’oreal ‘Superliner Superstar’ eyeliner in black, I line my eyes and finish the look off with a coat or two of Benefit’s ‘Roller Lash’ mascara. To make my eyes pop and look bigger, I use the Rimmel London ‘Scandaleyes’ waterproof eyeliner in the shade nude, on my waterline.

The colour of my lips depends on what I am wearing, however I mostly tend to wear Bourjois Paris’s ‘Colour Boost’ lip crayon in the shade proudly naked, this is my favourite nude lip product and goes with everything!

I find that this is the best suited every day make up look for me, as I feel it’s not too much and not too little, it’s very quick to do and last but not least it is what I’m mostly comfortable in.
