AJD and Amar Singh have released a new track titled, ‘Bhangra Takeover’.
It’s a throwback tune, dedicated to the best music producers from the UK. The tune is a catchy, upbeat dance number that’s sure to be a hit with old-school UK Bhangra fans.
We see young Punjabi’s dancing in traditional dress in the modern settings of San Francisco. AJD took to his Instagram to talk about the song, where he said: “Releasing music is a scary thought. I thought after my first release it would be easier, but isn’t.
The reason being, I make music to keep the Punjabi culture alive and to provide a product everyone can relate to, whilst keeping traditional Bhangra elements.”
He has certainly achieved an amazing fusion sound in this song!
