Prince Charles Tests Positive for Covid – 19

Clarence House has confirmed that Prince Charles, aged 71, has tested positive for coronavirus this morning.

Having displayed ‘mild symptoms’, on Sunday, and tested on Monday, the heir to the throne got the unfortunate results late on Tuesday night. He has been self-isolating in Scotland with the Duchess of Cornwall, who has tested negative for Covid – 19.

The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing. It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus from, as during the last few weeks, he spent a large amount of time engaging with others at events and ceremonies – greeting recipients with a non-contact gesture, otherwise named as Namaste.

Following Prince Charles’ diagnosis, Her Majesty The Queen remains in good health and is following all of the appropriate advice with regard to her welfare.
