Birmingham City Council are asking businesses for donations of personal protective equipment (PPE) for front line staff, care providers, social workers and volunteers who are delivering essential services across the City.
PPE includes items such as disposable aprons, latex or Nitrell gloves, face masks, hand sanitiser, eye protection and overshoes.
With numbers continuously rising of those infected by Covid – 19, there is quickly becoming a shortage of essential equipment needed to fight this. By donating PPE, many key workers will be able to help save others without in turn, infecting themselves.
