Sky Sports have announced they will permit customers to suspend their sports subscriptions because of their significantly reduced amount of live sports on their channels due to the coronavirus outbreak.
With sporting fixtures and events across the planet being postponed and cancelled in their droves due to the pandemic, Sky Sports schedules have been drastically altered.
Sky and BT Sport had previously said they would not be refunding customers who were being denied the bumper sports packages they had paid for.
A statement from Sky read: “While we expect that many of the recently postponed sports events will eventually go ahead, if you wish to pause your sports subscription in the meantime you will not be charged a fee to do so or be held to any notice period.
