This week, our #WorkoutWednesday goes to professional dancer Dana Alexa.
Dana Alexa is a dancer and choreographer from Brooklyn, New York and is currently living in Los Angles, California. The dancer choreographs for teams, artists and studios, master classes and holds private lessons. She travels all around the world to teach her master classes to dance enthusiasts.
She is a well-recognised face on American TV after she choreographed and performed on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ and ‘The Real Housewives of NJ’. She also participated on the Emmy Award winning reality TV show ‘The Amazing Race’. Dana is currently a judge on the new hit dance reality TV show ‘High Fever: Dance Ka Naya Tevar’ in India, and regularly posts videos of her choreography on her YouTube channel, where she receives thousands of views.
In the video we have chosen, we can see Dana embracing the Indian culture as she is dressed in a traditional Sari, to the hit track ‘Magneta Riddim’ by DJ Snake, where we see her dancing elegantly at the start and once the beat drops she switches to a hip-hop routine.
It’s a perfect fusion of East meets West, and we can see from her high energy dance routine, why India have nabbed her to be the international judge on their show.
