Alia Bhatt is set to make her Hollywood debut in Netflix’s spy-thriller film, Heart Of Stone.
The Bollywood megastar will feature alongside Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot and 50 Shades of Grey’s Jamie Dornan in the Netflix film.
Heart of Stone is directed by BAFTA-nominated, British director Tom Harper (Peaky Blinders, The Aeronauts, Wild Rose, War & Peace).
Announcing the project, Netflix tweeted, “Exciting News: Alia Bhatt will star alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in their new movie Heart of Stone.”
The Twitter account for Netflix India also shared about Bhatt’s big project. “Starting our day by announcing (and screaming) that Alia Bhatt is going to be in Heart Of Stone.”
Netflix India posted a second tweet with a close-up picture of Bhatt exclaiming it’s “really happening!”

Bhatt has received four FilmFare awards in her varied career trajectory so far. Her most recent release, Gangubai Kathiawadi, marked her third film to world premiere at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival, following the earlier Gully Boy (Dir: Zoya Akhtar, 2019) and Highway (Dir: Imtiaz Ali, 2014).
The 28-year-old star will next be seen in SS Rajamouli’s film RRR alongside Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Ajay Devgn.
RRR will release theatrically later this month.
