Alia Bhatt married the love of his life, Ranbir Kapoor earlier this year in April in an intimate wedding ceremony and now she is expecting her first child with the actor. In an interview with a news portal, Alia recently revealed that she never planned to get married so early in her life. In fact, she used to think that she would marry very late. According to her, she was one of those young girls who did not talk about marriage. However, Alia admitted that it is totally different when you fall deeply in love. You want to get into the next phase of your life and that happened very naturally with Ranbir.
Even before she started dating Ranbir, Alia has time and again mentioned on various occasions that she had a crush on the ‘Barfi!’ actor. Spilling some beans on the same, the actress stated that she was a cute fan girl. Alia added that she was not somebody who was chasing Ranbir or plotting to get him.
Earlier, speaking to Filmfare about her better half, Alia had said, “Ranbir is my best friend, so after marriage, nothing has changed between us. He is the same person. Jitni taareef karun kam hi hai. As a husband and as a life partner, it’s a complete set of adjectives that I can use for him. He always supports me. Mujhe bahut hansaate hain. All of my concerns have vanished after getting married to him.”
Alia and Ranbir will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ which is all set to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.
