From the talent that brought us Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, the sports drama is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, which follows Aziz Ali’s (Akhtar) journey as a reformed goon attempting to purge his past, and become a championship boxer, alongside Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal in supporting roles.
In the interview, Akhtar reveals the personal motives that enabled him to commit to the character on- and off-screen, the importance of collaborating with a team you can trust and how Rakeysh brought realism to the role and more.
