Anusha Sareen, a local Londoner, has committed to pursuing her goals and ambitions through the Miss England Organisation. She has been crowned Miss Middlesex, and went through to the finals as Miss Social Media Queen at Kelham Hall & Country Parks.
This week, at Birmingham Resorts World, Anusha Sareen will be competing for the following titles: Miss Beautiful Mind, Miss Sportswoman, Miss Beautiful Hair, Top Model, and Miss Publicity!
Following her story, we get to see how she has been hugely involved with her community from a young age. From the age of 15, she was a volunteer at Resident Care Homes, MENCAP Centres and was an active member of her community through multiple extra-curricular activities.
In the past month alone, she has attended events to support Special Needs Schools, Environmental Restoration Parks, Mental Awareness Events and many others. She managed to raise over £600, for Beauty with a Purpose, at her charity event at the beginning of July and hopes to create a new event for the coming month.
Speaking about Miss England, Anusha said: “Miss England is an organisation that encourages women to reach their full potential, to become well balanced individuals that support their community and create waves of inspiration for all generations. I am so grateful to have been successful this far, and will continue this journey for years to come”.
She began planning a campaign years ago, the ”I Am Me Campaign” (IME) Social Repression against Cyber Bullying – which she has recently put forward to the NSPCC in hope that they will approve and begin implementing this campaign in schools nationwide.
Talking about the campaign, the British Asian told us: “As a child, I experienced discomfort in schools with bullying, and although this has shaped my character in both strength and empathy, I hope to create a safer system for youths in today’s society”.
