Diljit revealed that the album’s title was inspired by how fans describe his stage presence. He explained that listeners often use the word “aura” when talking about the energy he brings to live shows, something he wanted to translate into a musical project.
In interviews and a track-by-track series, he shared that Aura’s vibe is intentionally sexy, meant for dance and expression. He describes it candidly: “The album’s vibe is sexy, I am sexy. It’s sexy songs for sexy dance.”
The lead video for “Kufar” is cinematic and symbolic. In it, Manushi Chhillar plays a central role across varied settings, blending dramatic visuals, dance, and narrative motifs. Diljit incorporates themes of heartbreak, tension, and emotional complexity, his lyrics touch on romance, betrayal, and self-assertion. Watch the video here:
The aesthetic of the video aligns with the album’s overall aesthetic: polished, emotive, and arresting. Many have already praised “Kufar” for its catchy hook, strong visuals, and Diljit’s confident delivery.
Given the early buzz around “Kufar,” Aura is expected to deliver a mix of up-tempo tracks, slow emotional numbers, and musical depth. Fans anticipate standout songs like Señorita and Charmer to showcase both danceable energy and heartfelt vulnerability.
Aura also aligns with Diljit’s Aura Tour 2025, giving live audiences the chance to experience the new songs in concert settings. The album’s launch and visuals together signal how Diljit is blending music and performance into a cohesive, immersive artistic statement.
