From Miami to Mumbai: Rolling Loud Arrives in India This November

When Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif founded Rolling Loud in 2015, their vision was simple but bold: to build a hip-hop festival platform by and for fans, a space where authentic voices, culture, and community could thrive. The pair had been organizing local music events and parties, seeded by their passion for rap culture and a belief that hip-hop deserved its largest stage. Over the years, what began in Miami grew into one of the world’s most iconic hip-hop festivals, hosting editions across the United States and expanding globally.

Now, nearly a decade later, Rolling Loud is finally bringing its flagship experience to India, for the very first time! From 22–23 November 2025, Loud Park, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai will host a blockbuster two-day festival that fuses global stars with India’s own hip-hop voices, celebrating not just music but unity, culture, and community.

The inaugural Rolling Loud India lineup is nothing short of historic. Leading Day 1 (22 November) are Central Cee and Wiz Khalifa, joined by Swae Lee, DaBaby, Denzel Curry, Hanumankind, Gurinder Gill and more. Day 2 (23 November) will be anchored by Karan Aujla and Don Toliver, with NAV, Ski Mask the Slump God, Sheck Wes, Westside Gunn, Divine, among others.

What makes this particularly historic is that Karan Aujla, a major name from the Indian/Punjabi scene, will headline, marking the first time an artist from the host country leads an international Rolling Loud edition.

The festival also features Hanumankind, the Kerala-born rapper whose rise has bridged Indian and global hip-hop audiences.

Organisers have positioned this edition as more than a concert. It will include hip-hop culture activations, art installations, local food and drink offerings, immersive experiences that highlight both global and Indian rap culture.

Why India, Why Now?

Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif have said that bringing Rolling Loud to India has been a longtime ambition. In a joint statement, they emphasised:

“Rolling Loud’s mission has always been to cultivate hip-hop on a truly global scale, and bringing the festival to India has been a goal of ours for years. To have Karan Aujla headline this debut is historic … this lineup reflects both the worldwide power of hip-hop and the rising strength of India’s own scene.”

India’s hip-hop movement has surged in recent years, and organizers see this debut as more than a musical event, it’s a cultural moment, positioning Mumbai as a global stage for rap and elevating the local scene into a broader spotlight.

Set at Loud Park, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, the venue benefits from newer infrastructure, metro connectivity, and a location designed for both access and immersive festival atmosphere.

The festival is being produced in partnership with District by Zomato, which will manage ticketing and local curation.

Ticket prices begin at ₹7,000 for general admission, climbing through GA Plus and VIP tiers.

Beyond the music, expect two main stages, curated visual design, art zones, brand activations, local F&B vendors, interactive elements, and surprise guest appearances.

Rolling Loud’s arrival in India is not just about staging a concert, it’s about recognition. It signals that Indian hip-hop deserves a global platform, that its voices are part of the global narrative.

By blending international icons with Indian rap talent, and coupling performance with culture, community and immersive expression, this edition promises to create memories, break boundaries and change perceptions of what India’s music scene can achieve.

As the world watches, Mumbai will host a moment many have long awaited: Rolling Loud finally arrives, and India stands ready to roar.
