Following Sidhu Moosewala’s brutal murder in broad daylight, the Punjabi artistes have become more vigilant of their security. Not just the Punjabi industry, even Bollywood stars are being threatened by gangsters who operate in Punjab. Recently, it was reported that Salman Khan had received threats from Lawrence Bishnoi gang and applied for arms license for his personal use.

In his letter to the CM, Jaani stated that not just him even his manager Dilraj Singh Nanda has been receiving these threats. Apparently, Jaani is feeling so stressed because of the threats that in his letter he has also claimed that “I have shifted my family out from Punjab for their safety”. Some unconfirmed reports also say that Jaani has left the country for this reason.

Given the nature of their work that involves lot of travel and outdoor shoots, Jaani has mentioned in his letter that “it is very difficult (for me) to go out in such a situation.”
