Jennifer Lopez brings her child Emme, 14, on stage for duet and uses gender-neutral pronouns

Jennifer Lopez brought her 14-year-old child Emme at the LA Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala on Thursday and introduced them using gender-neutral pronouns.

The 52-year-old introduced Emme as her “favourite duet partner” and ahead of their song referred to Emme, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, using the gender-neutral pronoun ‘they’.

J-Lo said: “The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this and I ask them to sing with me all the time, and they won’t. So this is a very special occasion.

“They are very, very busy, booked and pricey. They cost me when they come out. But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favourite duet partner of all time. So if you will indulge me.”

Jennifer and Emme stunned the crowd with their rendition of Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years, with the teen using a rainbow coloured microphone and rocking a hot pink outfit.
