Karan Aujla Leads Relief Efforts in Flood-Hit Panjab, Calls for Unity, Dignity and Seva

Karan Aujla visits flood-affected villages across Panjab, urging communities worldwide to come together and rebuild with compassion and solidarity.

Panjab has faced one of its darkest and most devastating chapters in recent history. The catastrophic floods that struck in August and September 2025 have left deep scars across the region, destroying homes, displacing families, and submerging farmlands that are the lifeblood of millions.

According to reports, over 2,050 villages have been affected, with nearly 20 lakh people displaced and hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland ruined. The floods have not only damaged infrastructure but have also upended livelihoods, leaving communities struggling to recover.

Amid the devastation, Punjabi artist and humanitarian Karan Aujla travelled to some of the hardest-hit areas to continue his seva, a word deeply rooted in Sikh tradition, meaning selfless service. His visit was not a publicity act, but a heartfelt effort to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the people of Panjab and inspire others to do the same.

Addressing the situation with empathy and purpose, Aujla shared a powerful message:

“We shouldn’t make them feel as if they need to beg for anything, or that we are doing them any favour. This is our duty to stand with our people.”

His words resonated across communities in India and abroad, reminding everyone that relief is not charity it is an act of shared humanity.

Karan Aujla’s message is one of unity, dignity, and collective responsibility. He urged fans, neighbours, and the global Punjabi diaspora to come forward not just with donations, but with compassion and respect for those affected.

The recovery efforts now go beyond restoring homes and farmland, they’re about rebuilding lives, reviving hope, and ensuring that no family is left behind.

BritAsia TV joins this message of solidarity and strength. Panjab’s story is one of resilience, and it is in these moments of hardship that its true spirit shines brightest.

When Panjab suffers, we all suffer. And when Panjab rebuilds, we all rise together.

Let’s answer Karan Aujla’s call, to stand beside our people, to give what we can, and to rebuild with dignity, strength, and love.
