The makers behind the upcoming Bollywood film ‘Jabariya Jodi’ have released the first track ‘Khadke Glassy’ from the soundtrack.
Following on from the release of the colourful trailer, which was released earlier last week, the first track from the flick is here set to entertain audiences.
Fans of Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra have eagerly been waiting for these two to reunite on screen, since they won the audiences hearts in 2014 with the film ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’.
The three-minute trailer left fans impressed with the funny dialogue and sizzling chemistry between the leading pair. Now, the Bollywood remake of ‘Khadke Glassy’ is here!
The track has been sung no other than Yo Yo Honey Singh, who caused a stir in Bollywood last year with the song ‘Dil Chori’. The song is a remake from Honey Singh’s Punjabi song ‘Glassy’, and it comes to no surprise that another Punjabi song has been remade for the Bollywood industry.
The visuals for the track are bright and colourful, as its set in a Holi backdrop and see the lead stars dancing with one another.
‘Jabariya Jodi’ is based on the tradition of groom kidnapping. Set in Bihar, the film follows the love story of Babli Yadav, played by Pari, and a local thug named Abhay Singh, played by Sid. Other than Sid and Pari, the talented ensemble cast also includes Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra and Aparshakti Khurana in important roles.
The rom com is set to hit cinemas 2nd August!
