OK Jannu is a remake of Tamil movie ‘OK Kanmani’. The brand new modern love story is directed by Shaad Ali. Adi and Tara played by Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor move to Mumbai to pursue their dreams. They meet and in true Bollywood fashion fall in love. Their no strings attached situation sets off a string of events eventually leading to their romance. The story is situated in the break neck speeds of Mumbai and eventually leads career complications which in-turn seperates the couple.
The soundtrack and film score is composed by the legendary A R Rahman. Rahman reinstates the original compositions and soundtrack he wrote for ‘O Kadhal Kanmani’. Rahman has also written three new songs for the movie.
