To all the movie buffs, yet another piece of news has come to light. It seems like the industry is back to its usual pace of announcing new films. A new film titled ‘Jind Mahi’ which was announced earlier, has got a new release date. The film stars Sonam Bajwa and Ajay Sarkaria in the lead roles, who were last seen in the film Ardab Mutiyaran.
Sonam Bajwa as Babbu Bains from ‘Ardab Mutiyaran’ left a mark on many hearts, and Ajay Sarkaria as the supportive lover and husband Rinku Bansal left all in awe. Now, again, the audience will witness one of the most loved Jodi on big screens. The film, which was scheduled to be released on July 8, 2022, will now hit the big screens on August 5, 2022.
Moreover adding a cherry to the cake Raj Shoker, BritAsiaTV’s very own presenter, will be making her Punjabi debut with this film. While sharing the poster of Jind Mahi, she wrote, “Super excited to announce my first Punjabi film I can’t wait for you all to see this. Thank you to the entire Jind Mahi team”.
Now, coming to the credits, the story has been written by Manmord Singh Sidhu, whereas Sameer Pannu has directed the film. Not only this, Jatinder Lall has written the dialogues and Gunbir Singh Sidhu is going to produce the film in a collaborative effort with Manmord Singh Sidhu. From the poster, it has also been revealed that fans will hear Oye Kunaal, Goldboy, and Desi Crew’s music in the film.
About the film, during the talk sessions, it has been disclosed that Jind Mahi is not just a love story but also a heart-touching emotion that silently covers the most common problem these days; depression. The movie is loaded with a number of emotions and will make you both smile and cry.
