The trailer for the upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Manikarnika’ starring Kangana Ranuat has been released by the makers of the flick.
The official trailer was released on December 18th 2018, and fans weren’t disappointed. There had been a buzz around the movie, ever since the release of the teaser back in October. British fans were also treated to a behind the scenes look in Anita Rani’s documentary about Bollywood for the BBC’s Big British Asian Summer.
The story is about Rani Laxmibai and her fight against the British East India Company. Audiences will have a chance to see Kangana Ranaut play the role of the fierce Queen of Jhansi. Not only do we see Bollywood star Kangana star in the movie, she has also co-directed the female empowerment flick.
The period film has also been directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, and has become the talk of B-town. It has a mass appealing subject, and takes Indian cinema to another level by proving that even a female lead can take a movie to success.
Kangana’s expresses ions are thrilling and will keep you captivated throughout the two-minute trailer. She is seen fighting and slaying her enemies as she takes over the role of Rani Lakshmi Bai. It looks like it will be a delight to watch, and will be on our watch list in 2019.
The flick is scheduled to be released on January 25th 2019.
