Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have announced the birth of their first child, in a surprise announcement the couple made on social media yesterday.
The actress, 39, shared a screenshot of a digital note she penned, which read: “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate.”
The note continued: “We respectfully ask for privacy during this time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much,” and tagged Nick Jonas in the caption alongside a red heart emoji.
Nick, 29, took to Instagram to share the same and also tagged Priyanka in his caption. They have been married since 2018.
The international icon recently attracted headlines after speaking with Vanity Fair for their upcoming February cover issue.
In the tell-all interview, she reflects on her storied Hindi film industry career, marriage, and creating a path for herself in Hollywood.
When asked about starting a family, the White Tiger star teased: “Children are a big part of our desire for the future […] by God’s grace, when it happens, it happens.”
