‘Road in Mansa to be named after Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’: Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh

On 26th January 2023, a road in Mansa was named after famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala who was killed last year. The announcement was made by Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh who reached Mansa Village on the occasion of Republic Day 2023. While sharing the information about the road to be renamed he said that the loss that Moosewala’s family has suffered is unbearable and the government has all sympathies with them. He said, “it’s a way of paying respect to the great singer.”

Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh on 26th January 2023 announced that a road in Mansa will now be named under Sidhu Moosewala. He also stated that all accused of the killing of the Punjabi singer have been arrested and extradition for the ones sitting abroad has also been initiated.

The Health Minister further added that an investigation regarding his security leak is still going on and the guilty will not be spared even if they belong to his very own political party. He also informed that previous DGP identified 57 such gangs in Punjab who are behind such conspiracies. He said that these gangsters deserve to be behind the bars and AAP is making sure of it.

Slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on 29th May 2022 near village Mansa. The responsibility of the same was taken by wanted gangster Goldy Brar. He said that Sidhu Moosewala was murdered to avenge the death of his brother. Till now 36 accused have been named in this case. The main mastermind behind this murder is said to be gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who is currently lodged in Tihar Jail, Delhi.
