Seven of Birmingham’s Best Restaurants Unite at New Jewellery Quarter Food Hall

Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter has a brand-new culinary hotspot as Saint Paul’s Market officially opens its doors today, Friday, September 26. Bringing together seven of the city’s most beloved restaurants under one roof, the 10,000 sq ft food hall promises a vibrant new dining experience in the heart of the city.

Located on Mary Ann Street, Saint Paul’s Market is set across two levels, with a mezzanine overlooking the main dining space. The venue’s lively atmosphere is complete with a shimmering disco ball that creates the perfect backdrop for sampling some of Birmingham’s most talked-about flavours.

The line-up of kitchens represents the city’s diverse and thriving food culture:

  • Tiger Bites Pig – the cult city-centre bao specialists.

  • Colbeh – Edgbaston’s renowned Persian restaurant.

  • La Pop – the neighbourhood’s favourite dessert house.

  • Corner Shop – celebrated makers of Detroit-style pizza across the city.

  • Soi – Stirchley’s Thai hotspot.

  • Chancer’s – famous for fried chicken with a creative twist.

  • Zindiya – Moseley’s much-loved Indian street food kitchen.

By showcasing these popular independents, the market brings flavours from Birmingham’s suburbs and city centre together in one buzzing hub.

Saint Paul’s Market has been designed as a welcoming, casual space for everyone. Families and children are welcome, and dog owners can bring their pets along as long as they’re on a lead.

It’s a walk-in only venue for now, but with plenty of seating spread across the food hall, guests can expect a relaxed dining experience. For those who love being in the thick of the action, Soi’s kitchen stools offer a ringside seat to the cooking.

Orders can be placed via a QR code at the table, though guests are also free to order face-to-face at each kitchen for a more personal experience. The food hall caters to a wide range of tastes, with vegan and gluten-free dishes available across the different menus.

Located just five minutes from St Paul’s tram stop, the venue also offers convenient access, with paid on-street parking nearby.
