Midlands-based property investment giant SevenCapital is making a bold entry into London’s prime residential market with a £1bn expansion.
The firm, founded in 2009 by Bal Sohal and Damien Siviter, has announced three major development projects in Kensington, Islington, and the Isle of Dogs, delivering over 1,000 new homes through a mix of new builds and heritage conversions.
Three Landmark Developments in London
1. 100 Kensington (£500m) – Under Construction
Leading the charge is 100 Kensington, a £500m residential project with full planning consent. The 462-home development, designed by Corstorphine & Wright, is already under construction on a 1.7-hectare site.
The project will offer:
✔ 276 market-sale apartments
✔ 186 affordable homes
✔ 15,000 sq. ft. leisure facilities
✔ 25,000 sq. ft. of retail and office space
✔ A podium garden for residents

2. Klein’s Wharf, Isle of Dogs (375 Homes) – In Planning
Situated on Westferry Road, Klein’s Wharf promises 375 newly built homes, 40% of which will be affordable. The site benefits from a prime waterfront location with views over both the River Thames and the Millwall Outer Dock.
The development will also include:
✔ A riverside café
✔ A multi-use community hub
✔ 50,000 sq. ft. of green-led public realm
✔ Public access to the Thames from Westferry Road

3. Archway Campus, Islington (£210m) – In Planning
SevenCapital is breathing new life into a Victorian hospital site that has remained vacant for over a decade. The £210m Archway Campus project will deliver 178 homes, with 51% designated as affordable housing.
Additional features include:
✔ 242 student accommodation rooms
✔ Flexible commercial and community space
✔ Refurbishment of historic buildings alongside new developments

A Bold Future for SevenCapital
SevenCapital has a strong track record in Birmingham and the Midlands, having delivered major projects like St George’s Urban Village and The Kettleworks in the Jewellery Quarter. The company’s London expansion is expected to significantly enhance its mixed-use development portfolio, with a target of adding 10,000 residential units across the UK over the next five to seven years.
As London’s property market continues to evolve, SevenCapital’s strategic move cements its position as a major player in UK real estate.
