Punjabi artist Talwiinder introduces his highly anticipated EP with an atmospheric new track exploring the influence of the people and world around us
Talwiinder has officially begun the journey towards his highly anticipated EP, ‘Paiinted Feeliings’, with the release of his latest single, ‘Assay Passay’.
Following days of cryptic hints, clues appearing across cities and plenty of decoding from his dedicated community, known as the ‘Miisfiits’, Talwiinder has finally unveiled the first glimpse into his upcoming project.

Speaking about the new song and his forthcoming EP, Talwiinder revealed that ‘Assay Passay’ came together unexpectedly during a freestyle session.
“We made ‘Assay Passay’ during a freestyle session at a friend’s house on a rainy day. It wasn’t planned at all. As we kept working on it, this thought about how much the people around us can change us just stayed with me.”
He added that the experience inspired a wider exploration of emotions that can often be difficult to articulate.
“Sometimes you don’t even notice that you’re becoming a different version of yourself. I think we all experience emotions that are difficult to explain or put into words, and Paiinted Feeliings came from that space for me, with each song capturing a different feeling, memory or moment.”
