The Punjabi Film Awards 2020 postponed due to Coronavirus Concerns

BritAsia TV would like to sadly inform our viewers that our upcoming Punjabi Film Awards 2020 have been postponed until further notice, due to COVID – 19 concerns. Whilst this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we prioritise the health and safety of our music artists, guests, staff and community.

Mr Tony Shergill, CEO of BritAsia TV, said: “We must sadly confirm the rescheduling of The Punjabi Film Awards 2020, which would have been in its third year. This is a difficult time for our country and all around the globe. However, it is important to follow the correct measures and adhere to the health and safety guidelines put forth by public health officials. The Punjabi Film Awards are an opportunity for us to celebrate the thriving South Asian music and entertainment industry, however, the safety of those in the industry and our guests is of upmost importance.
