COMEDIAN HARDEEP SINGH KOHLI ENTERS THE CBB HOUSE

Comedian and ex BBC One Show presenter Hardeep Singh Kohli entered the Celebrity Big Brother house on Thursday night.

The Sikh comedian caused controversy when he was suspended by the BBC back in 2009 for six months after allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards a researcher and his contract was never renewed.

The Glaswegian was due to appear at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival but cancelled his shows last minute. He shared the news on his Twitter and told his 41,000 fans,” Sincere apologies for the cancellation of the rest of my fringe run. A last-minute TV project came up.

“My profound thanks to @AssemblyFest for yet again being frightful hosts. And much love to those that gave me their hour. Love love.”

As he entered the house, he donned the traditional Scottish kilt, keeping to his roots, and sported a pink tie which matched his pink turban.

It’s believed that he was chosen as a last-minute replacement to fill a place of a ‘secret’ celebrity who pulled out.

Hardeep joined a star-studded house with the likes of Dan Osborne, Roxanne Pallett, Kirstie Alley, Gabby Allen, Rodrico AKA ‘The Human Ken Doll’, Ryan Thomas, Chloe Ayling, Sally Morgan, Natalie Nunn, Jermaine Pennant, Nick Lesson and Ben Jardine. A secret 14th housemate is also set to join the house.
