Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and Pop singer Nick Jonas have confirmed that they are engaged as they share photos of their Roka ceremony in Mumbai, India on Sunday.
They both shared the same photo on their Instagram accounts with different captions. Jonas declared Chopra to be ‘Future Mrs Jonas. My heart. My love’ and the latter stated she is ‘Taken… With all my heart and soul…’
The Roka is an engagement ceremony, and is further where the family and close friends of the couple come together to bless the happy couple. The couple wore traditional clothes for the Roka, with Priyanka choosing a classic couture, yellow Anarkali suit and Nick opting for a simple white kurta.
The couple appeared to be all loved up with the romantic photos expressing affection for each other as well as appreciation of their loved ones in joining them and blessing them at the ceremony.
Following the Roka was a star-studded engagement party with over 200 guests celebrating the union. It was a casual but lovely event with Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti and actress Alia Bhatt coming to the celebrations alongside Indian billionaire family, the Ambanis – Mukesh and Nita Ambani with their daughter Isha – Vishal Bhardwaj, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
