Bollywood acting legend Dilip Kumar turns 98 today and messages from fellow actors and fans have cascaded social media with well wishes on his Birthday.
Wishes for the near-centenarian, Dilip Kumar continue to pour in from colleagues on social media for the veteran actor, affectionately known as ‘Tragedy King’, for his epic romance performances in many earlier movies. Off screen, he is otherwise referred to as Yusuf Saab/Khan – his birth name.
Among others, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit Nene took to social media to wish Kumar a Happy Birthday with heartfelt messages.
Since Bachchan could not be physically present to celebrate the grand occasion on Kumar turning 98, his Shakti co-star sent a bouquet of flowers instead.
In a video shared on Instagram, a member of Bachchans’ staff was spotted making his way to Kumar’s Mumbai residence as he handed an envelope together with flowers to the actor’s household staff.

On Twitter, SRK posted a throwback picture to a photoshoot he and the actor once shared. He tweeted: “To the one and only, who amazed and inspired the world by just being himself.
