Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol married his longtime girlfriend Drisha Acharya on June 18.
Karan and Drisha’s wedding was attended by their close friends and family members. Reportedly, Dharmendra’s second wife, veteran actress Hema Malini and their daughters were invited for Karan’s wedding. However, Hema, Esha and Ahana did not attend the wedding.
Days after Karan’s wedding, Dharmendra penned an emotional for his wife and daughters Esha Deol and Ahana. The veteran actor blamed his old age and illness for not inviting them personally.
The veteran actor shared a photo with daughter Esha and wrote in the caption, “Esha, Ahana, Hema and all my darling kids… loving Takhtani’s and Vohra’s I love you and respect you all from the core of my heart… age and illness is telling upon me I could have spoken personally to you… but.”
On the other hand, Esha Deol shared a photo from her wedding album. It featuring Esha and her husband posing with Dharmendra and Hema Malini. In her caption, Esha wrote, “Love u papa. You are the best. Love you unconditionally & you know that. Cheer up & always be happy & healthy. Love u.”

Esha is the elder daughter of Dharmendra and Hema Malini. She is the half-sister of Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, who are Dharmendra’s children with first wife Prakash Kaur. Sunny’s sons Karan and Rajveer Deol are Esha’s nephews.
On the work front, Dharmendra has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The veteran actors plays the role of Ranveer Singh’s grandfather in the film. The Karan Johar directorial also stars Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani teaser received a good response. The film will release on 28th July.
