Diljit Dosanjh has announced his next film, Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne, will arrive in time for Dussehra, 2022.
Diljit Dosanjh shared the film’s release date in a post on his social media platforms along with the official poster.
The singer-actor, 38, captioned his Twitter post: ਅਲੜ ਬਲੜ ਬਾਵੇ ਦਾ.. ਬਾਬਾ ਹੁਣ ਦੁਸਿਹਰੇ ਤੇ ਭੰਗੜਾ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ […] 𝐁𝐀𝐁𝐄 𝐁𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄 𝐍𝐄 […] Releasing Worldwide 30th September 2022.”
The Punjabi text in which loosely translates to: “Alaṛa balaṛa bāvē dā.. Bābā huṇa dusiharē tē Bhagaṛā pāvēgā” (Babe will now do Bhangra on Dussehra).

The Punjabi-language comedy is helmed by director Amarjit Singh Saron and the script is penned by Naresh Kathooria (Carry on Jatta 2, Paani Ch Madhaani).
The upcoming film will also mark Dosanjh’s second collaboration with the director after October 2021’s Honsla Rakh — which also starred Shehnaaz Gill and Sonam Bajwa.
Babe Bhangre Paunde Ne will release worldwide on 30 September, 2022.
