The royal wedding may be over, but wedding season has just begun. For those brides to be who are struggling on what hair look to go for, Meghan Markle set a new trend on her wedding day.
The Duchess of Sussex wore her hair in a sleek updo, which made her look sophisticated and classy, and a perfect new addition to the Royal Family.
An updo is one of many ways to wear your hair on your big day, and at Asian weddings this is the perfect way to keep everything in place, as we all know hectic they can get.
We have put a step by step guide on recreating Meghan’s look, thanks to the help from Mathew Soobroy, a Principal Stylist at Charles Worthington Studios.
Step 1: Prep the hair with L’Oreal Tec Ni Pli volume spray and blow dry the hair to fall smooth.
Step 2: Create a centre parting and section the front hairline out, backcombing at the crown to create volume.
Step 3: Gather the rest into a low sleek ponytail and use Kerastase Therapiste serum to smooth.
Step 4: Section the ponytail into 6 parts to create barrel curls and secure with pins.
Step 5: Pull back the loose hair at the front and then pin gently around the bun so you get a super soft finish, framing the eyes and cheeks.
Step 6: Spray with L’Oreal couture carousel hair spray to give the firmness and create hold.
There you have it, a hair do fit for a beautiful bride!
