Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif put on her best saree and hit the Filmfare red carpet to cheer for her hubby Vicky Kaushal, who was not only a performer but also a nominee at the Wolf777news Filmfare Awards 2022.
Looking like a million bucks in the sheer number with shimmery detailing, the actress put on her best smile for the cameras. While on the red carpet, she opened up about her hush-hush marriage for the very first time in a candid chat with Zoom.
“More than trying to keep it private, we were restricted by Covid,” the actress about keeping the nuptials a low-key affair. She went on to add, “My family has been personally affected by Covid and it was something you had to take seriously. I think this year it has been a lot better, but it was something we wanted to be cautious of, but the wedding was beautiful. We are both very happy.”
This was also the actress’ first appearance at an award show since the pandemic. “I think now that the world is opening up, I think this is the first award show that I have attended post-covid and I am happy to be here,” she said with a smile.
Kat made it to the awards show in time to catch hubby Vicky in action as he entertained the audience with his upbeat performance. Fans on Twitter spotted the couple stealing a kiss while Vicky made his way to the stage.

Besides catching the two sharing a light moment with Sunny Kaushal, Katrina was also seen planting a congratulatory kiss on her husband’s cheek after he won the Best Actor critics award for his role in ‘Sardar Udham’.
“This is my first Filmfare. This feels very very special. It was a special film for all of us. So thankful to Shoojit Da. My performance in this film is a tribute to Irrfan Khan. I miss him so much,” The actor, in his acceptance speech, and made sure to profess his love for his wife. “I love you, you brought so much happiness into my life,” The hunk added, earning hoots and cheers from the audience.
