From Tuesday 31st of June – 3rd of June 2022, Brit Asia Tv hosted a 4 day live broadcast tribute to Sidhu Moosewala.
The show was hosted by Tej Samra for Tuesday – Thursday’s episodes with Harjap Bhangal hosting the final show which featured a live audience who paid their own emotional tributes to Sidhu Moosewala.
On Tuesday’s show (Which featured Dj Aza, Steven Sahota, Juggy D and Ricky Bhandal), saw, Dj Aza speak of how the whole camp were really impacted by the news of Sidhu’s killing, his kind nature and the news that fans all wanted to hear being that Sidhu Moosewala and Drake had a song complete and ready to release.
Wednesday’s episode saw KS Makhan, Benny Dhaliwal and Dj Harpz feature all artists who had spent time with the icon.
KS Makhan was critical in his interview and called out not just the broken system across India which was leading to the growth in Gangsters, but also called out influential UK individuals who had links to key political players in India and were not doing anything to help the people in Punjab.
Thursday saw Amrit Saab, Bupps Sagu, Punjabi Media Anchor Diljit Singh, USR Roadshow and Little Ray Ray speak about Sidhu.
Amrit Saab spoke highly of Sidhu Moosewala but also mentioned that many who were now paying tribute to Sidhu Moosewala where the very same people who criticized his short falling’s, failed to show him support when he needed it but were now jumping on the bandwagon.
Bupps Sagu and USR both spoke about the cultural differences in India with the public’s in regards to gun culture and violence down to the fact of a lack of education and support for the public.
Friday’s episode saw Aman Hayer, Dr Zues, AJD, Foji Gill, San2, Prince, Dj Frenzy and many more artists feature all sharing fond memories of Sidhu, his music, personalty and so much more.
