Priyanka Chopra Jonas has come a long way with rich content-driven and commercial films in the Hollywood and Bollywood industries. While the actress made her Bollywood debut in 2003, she made her foray into the west with the hit series ‘Quantico’ in 2015.
Reflecting on her journey, the actor told Pinkvilla, that she still feels ‘new’ in Hollywood, despite being active in that industry for almost 10 years now. Calling herself a high achiever, Priyanka says she’s extremely goal oriented. She is hungry for more challenges, growth, evolution and knowledge, and there is a lot more than she wants to do.
The actress admitted that she has had an incredibly successful career as an actor in India. “I have worked with the best filmmakers, and I have done films that I am really really proud of. And now I want to be able to, as an actor, create that body of work in my English language work which is in America,” she told.
On a closing note she shared, that she still feels ‘new’ in Hollywood and added that after 10 years of working here, she is nearing to the point where she’s doing the kind of roles she always wanted to do, where she has the credibility within the industry.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka will soon be seen in the romantic comedy film ‘It’s All Coming Back To Me’, and the Russo Brothers’ sci-fi series ‘Citadel’. She also has Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
