Priyanka Chopra Jonas is quite a desi girl off-screen too, despite the fact that she live in LA with husband Nick Jonas. The actress makes sure to celebrate all Indian festivals at home away from India. Even this year, PC celebrated ‘karwa chauth’ and kept a fast for Nick.
The actresses gave us a sneak peek into her celebrations from LA. PC posted a picture where she is seen having husband Nick’s initials on her hand along with a heart. She was also seen wearing the ‘red chooda’. She wrote, “Happy karwa chauth to everyone celebrating it.”
Priyanka and Nick have been celebrating the ritual every year, ever since they got married and Nick also seems to love all the Indian traditions. He feels proud of Priyanka and the Indian culture. Earlier on ‘karwa chauth’, he had shared a mushy pic with PC and he wrote, “My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together. Happy Karva Chauth to everyone!”
The duo who got married in December 2018 and turned parents in January this year to daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas via surrogacy.
PC also showered love to Katrina and Vicky Kaushal who celebrated their first ‘karwa chauth’ yesterday. She commented on their pictures and wrote, “Congratulations so beautiful 😍”
The actress will be sharing screen space with Katrina in ‘Jee Le Zara’ which also stars Alia Bhatt.
