The actor, known for power house performances in movies like Piku, Padmaavat, Chhapaak, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and others has never stuck to one genre while picking her projects and her latest outing will see her Telugu debut in the movie Project K, also to be shot simultaneously in Hindi.
Production house Vyjayanthi Movies took to its Insta handle today to wish Deepika a Happy Birthday, while also sharing a poster of the movie. The poster shows Deepika standing atop a hilly structure, with her back facing the future, as the sun sets in the background. The tagline of the movie, ‘A Hope In The Dark’ accompanies the poster.
Project K is said to be futuristic sci-fi project. The magnum opus, directed by Nag Ashwin also stars Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
In 2021, actor Prabhas had taken to his IG handle to share that the shooting of the movie has commenced, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. He wrote, “On this #GuruPurnima, it is an honour for me to Clap for the Guru of Indian cinema!… it now begins!! #ProjectK”.
