Yes, you heard that right, Farhan Akhtar recently posted a motion poster teaser on his Instagram handle which reads, “A New Era Begins” with a ‘3’ written in the centre. The background music also sounded somewhat similar to the film’s titular track Main Hoon Don which made audiences speculate it to be the announcement of Don 3.
If reports are to be believed, Ranveer Singh will be replacing Shah Rukh Khan this time and he will not be seen reprising his memorable titular role of Don. and also the post says about the beginning of new era, audiences have been speculating it to be true and refusing to accept the threequel without Shah Rukh Khan and are posting negative comments in the comment section of the post with some saying, “No Srk, No Don 3”.
While the other post from Farhan Akhtar has confirmed the making of Don 3 and that too without Shahrukh Khan as the makers of the film wants to take the legacy forward with new interpretation after Amitabh Bachchan who portrayed the dynamic Don role in 1978 and Shah Rukh Khan who played Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the remake of Don and wants audiences to shower love the same way they poured upon these two actors.
