Shah Rukh Khan on Friday, officially announced that advance bookings for his film ‘Pathaan’ are open!
Taking to his social media handles, the actor shared a cool new promo video that saw John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and himself dressed in their stealth suits, delivering punches and flying kicks as they made the big announcement.
“Milne zaroor aana on 25th Jan,” he added.
The Bollywood superstar is returning to the silver screen after 4 years with the spy-thriller. Going by box office reports, the film has already sold over 1 lakh tickets in just 12 hours. With the audience charged up to witness one of India’s biggest superstars back in action, reports state that the film could record one of the biggest openings in box office history.
Considering the buzz around the film, the makers revealed early this week that advance booking will open 5 days prior to the film’s release next Wednesday.
‘Pathaan’ will enjoy an undisputed run at the box office and will have a wide release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. While the film will release in the 2D format, it will also be available in premium formats like IMAX, 4DX, D BOX and ICE versions in Hindi.
The film which also stars Salman Khan as Tiger in an extended cameo, will be the 4th film of the YRF Spy Universe which also features Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s ‘WAR’ franchise.
