Sidhu Moosewala’s first song has been released after his murder. It was released on 23rd June 2022 on his youtube channel. The song turned into a massive hit within minutes of its release and it got over 1 million views in just the first 30 minutes of its release.
This song depicts real life incidents which makes it more personal as it includes the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal issue, water dispute with Haryana, the 1984 Sikh riots, Sikh prisoners, undivided Punjab and as well as the recent Nishan Sahib flag hoisting at the red fort during the farmer agitation.
It left his fans emotional who had been eagerly waiting for the release of the song. Most of his fans wrote, ‘Legends never die’. Another fan wrote ‘the way Sidhu explained the value of water and demanded those rights needs kudos and appreciation’.
Good news for his fans as Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh said that more songs will be released soon. He has written many more songs and these songs will be released one by one.
