After the first look posters of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ left her fans mesmerised, another BTS photo of the actress from the set is going viral on the internet.
In the photo, Aishwarya looks drop-dead gorgeous, all decked up in a traditional avatar. Dressed in a gorgeous lehenga and matching jewellery, the actress is seen posing right next to the camera on the set. The actress will be essaying the role of Nandini in the film.
The Mani Ratnam directorial also stars Vikram as Aditya Karikalan, Karthi as Vanthiyathevan, Trisha as Kundavai and Jayam Ravi as Arunmozhi Varman. The historical film also stars Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Lal, Kishore, Ashwin Kakumanu, Sobhita Dhulipala and Aishwarya Lekshmi in pivotal roles.
The film reportedly marks the first of two cinematic movies based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel of the same name, ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
