WMCA Offering Online Courses During Pandemic

West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) are offering a variety of online courses for individuduals and groups, to learn new skills during the Covid – 19 pandemic. With the courses provided by a variety of organisations including BT/Skills for Tomorrow, Colleges etc, this is a great way for the public to expand their knowledge on essential skills during this uncertain time.

Some of the available courses on offer are Acessing Public Services, Video Calling, Online Shopping, Watching and Listening Online, Support with Business Online, Introduction to Digital Skills. There are also more specialised courses that provide level certifications, such as Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning, Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems, and Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills.

With the majority of public services and organisations at a close during this pandemic, many are dependent on online resources, and WMCA are providing these opportunities for those who need it. In total there are 469 online resources to access, and users can easily identify and refine the resources by selecting a specific category and skill level.
