Yo! Bachche Ki Jaan is the first song to be released from the upcoming Bollywood movie ‘102 Not Out’, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor.
The upbeat song, has been sung by Arjun Singh, and gives us an exciting look into to the movie and what we can expect from the film. Umesh Shukla, the director, said that Singh’s voice was “fitting with Mr Bachchan’s character in the film, who believes in living life to the fullest.”
In the video, we see that it is apparent that, Dattatraya (played by Bachan) has a childlike innocence which is shown throughout the song.
We get to know more of the ‘old school beta’ Babulal (played by Kapoor) who is the opposite of his fun and energetic father. Dattatraya who is 102, tries to break the world record for the oldest living man, whilst his 75-year-old son Babulal has already given in to old age and misery.
The films soundtrack has already been causing a bit of stir and catching peoples attention for many reasons. It was previously announced that Bachchan had recorded two songs for the film, with one being rap.
During his time in the studio, Bachchan posted on his blog “Music music music … the soul, the essence, the softness of life”. Judging by this peppy number, the soundtrack and film are sure to both make you laugh and warm your heart.
Get ready to evoke your inner child for the 4th May, with the release of 102 Not Out!
