Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala has announced that he will be starring in a Punjabi movie.
Since entering the scene last year, Sidhu has created a storm. He released huge hits such as ‘So High’, ‘Issa Jatt’, ‘Jatt Da Muqabla’ and many more. He picked up the award for ‘Best Lyricist’ at the BritAsia TV Music Awards 2018 and embarked on his first UK tour.
The Punjab sensation is not stopping there and will now be making his Pollywood debut! The Punjabi film industry has been going from strength to strength, and Moose Wala is sure to create even more hype around it.
The ‘So High’ singer took to his 1.5 million Instagram followers to share the first look of his movie ‘Yes I Am Student’.
The movie has been directed by Tarnvir Singh Japgal, who directed ‘Daaan Paani’ starring Jimmy Shergill earlier this year. The flick has been written by Gill Raunta, who will be making his debut as a writer in the movie ‘Kaka Ji’, which will be releasing on January 18th.
From what we can take from the poster so far is that it will be following the life of a student, who is studying outside of India. There is no official release date, but will be out sometime next year.
