TARSEM JASSAR AND NEERU BAJWA SET TO STAR IN ‘UDA AIDA’

Punjabi stars Tarsem Jassar and Neeru Bajwa are uniting for the first time for the upcoming Punjabi movie ‘Uda Aida’.

The year has already been kicked off with a bang in Punjabi Cinema with releases such as ‘Do Dooni Panj’, ‘Kaka Ji’, ‘Kaake Da Viyah’, and even more set to be released throughout the year. This year, it looks like Punjabi cinema are experimenting much more and coming up with new concepts, that audiences have not seen before.

One of the new concepts features in ‘Uda Aida’. The movie is based on parents in the modern day trying to educate their kids in the expensive schools, but can leave a negative experience to the child. The story line follows the family of Tarsem Jassar and Neeru Bajwa, who send their child to an expensive school, but their child finds it harder to fit in.

The makers behind the movie have released the title track ahead of its release.

The song has been sung and written by lead actor Tarsem Jassar, who will keep audiences hooked with his soothing vocals.

Talking about the flick, he said: “We must keep pace with the changing times. That is the only way to stay relevant. However, that does not mean we must forget our roots and culture. Uda Aida is a film that will take a jibe on our generation’s craze to send our kids to expensive schools because we consider that this will ensure a successful future for them.

The title track resonates this idea. The song is catchy, and I am sure it will be loved by the listeners.”

‘Uda Aida’ is set to hit cinemas on 1st February.
